Any recomendations on the best case to send your rifle through UPS/Fed-X or regular mail.

I have a rifle being sent to me from Karl and I want to make sure it arrives in one piece. I was looking at the Pelican case. Little expensive but worth it to me if the rifle arrives in good shape.

I got one of these from the CMP a few years back. They're reusable and one has survived 8 round trips from Oklahoma to Indiana shipped via USPS and UPS.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Only Pelican for me. Plus you will have it for future hunts. Mine has been to Canada few times. Like all my cases, I take a 4x4x8 wood fence blk, cut to size {height of case} & place inside middle of my case.

I can stand & jump with the blk inside. Maybe this is little overkill, but safer than sorry when traveling to hunt.

I have used Cabelas' cheap and cheerful gun boxes to ship rifles for work.

They used to go for about $10 and came in a cardboard box that did a good job of disguising the contents. I still have a couple around.

I think a guy is still selling some used SKB-4900 single-rifle cases on eBay. Last week I bought the first one he had at $36 +shipping, and there were more to follow. They sell from $112 and up new.

I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.
