Any recomendations on the best case to send your rifle through UPS/Fed-X or regular mail.
I have a rifle being sent to me from Karl and I want to make sure it arrives in one piece. I was looking at the Pelican case. Little expensive but worth it to me if the rifle arrives in good shape.

I got one of these from the CMP a few years back. They're reusable and one has survived 8 round trips from Oklahoma to Indiana shipped via USPS and UPS. http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Bro...goryid=19295&categorystring=10615***
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

Only Pelican for me. Plus you will have it for future hunts. Mine has been to Canada few times. Like all my cases, I take a 4x4x8 wood fence blk, cut to size {height of case} & place inside middle of my case.
I can stand & jump with the blk inside. Maybe this is little overkill, but safer than sorry when traveling to hunt.

I have used Cabelas' cheap and cheerful gun boxes to ship rifles for work. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...Related_IPL_228731&id=0059540290485aThey used to go for about $10 and came in a cardboard box that did a good job of disguising the contents. I still have a couple around. jim

I think a guy is still selling some used SKB-4900 single-rifle cases on eBay. Last week I bought the first one he had at $36 +shipping, and there were more to follow. They sell from $112 and up new.
I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.
