Has anyone ever seen a solid frame 22HP that did NOT have a take-down barrel????
I know there are not a lot of solid frames out there but I know there are at least a few guys around here that have them or have seen them and am wondering what has been seen. I think our friends from Down Under may have seen the most.
I have personally seen at least 3 22" long, 22HP barrels on solid frames all of which were T/D barrels... and only one of which did I suspect of being a gunsmith combo. I have never seen a 20" barrel on a solid frame (99T, anyone?)

I have seen six down here and all were take down barrels. On the the three I have owned they had take down receivers also, but correctly matching & numbered forend.
Drew there is one in an auction in Melbourne in a few weeks. google australian arms auctions, will try and get the lot # for you.

Fug has a 99T in 22HP, but doubt that he's ever put a screwdriver to the forearm.

Joe, you need to. Think how more desirable it would be than a common old R in 243

MD, I'll send you a 22HP even up for that old 243.... Just cause you don't own one, does not mean you have not seen one or have records on one...

Drew MD does'nt have that R yet, been working hard on it for him but it does'nt look like it will happen.
Lot 140 is a beaut, there was a Henry at aucton here last week, it was expected to make $35,000. Graham may know if it got that far I missed it.

Wonder what it takes to import to the US... seems I recall someone posting here that it was more trouble than it was worth but I suppose that depends on the value of the gun to you. You a buyer on 140 or 341?
Lots of nice guns at this auction!! Appears a few were terribly under estimated
