Since my LE6920 hasn't sold, I'm thinking about trying something different.

What would be a fair asking price for the complete upper to a gently used (under 200 rounds) LE6920 with a BCM gunfighter charging handle?

The market is saturated right now so you may have to price it lower than that for it to sell.

Today you can buy a Colt OEM unit for $750'ish & the lower portion only of that is going for around $375.

That means that the OEM upper (if available) would be around $375'ish also.

I would take the to put the real street value of your upper at not much more than $400 or even less.

At the same time we bought out complete 6920's for $759, my buddy bought a new 6920 upper for $430 shipped if I remember right, it may have been cheaper. That included the BCG.

I'm gonna say $400 would be a little high but not impossible to get. Might do better on a trade or on a site with a better respect for Colt.

That said, I wouldn't take a grand for mine...

If you don't need the $$, move it to the back of the safe and forget about it. We've been on a victory lap since the election but "elections matter" and the anti-American left are fighting viciously to get back in power. ARs are ALWAYS in their sights, and the value will be at its peak prior to the next election.

Another thought is that, with the way things are going in our country right now, you might just need it because the Dems are in full-on attack mode and willing to disrupt civil society every chance they get. If we have a string of serious terrorist events happen in this country (think power grids, etc.) the Dems/BLM/Socialists/Communists seething hatred of our way of life might just ignite a real fire and things could get very ugly, very fast. Every time we check out the news, it's obvious the Left is willing to commit violence against the "every day" Americans they despise and protecting our family could be a reality!

Locally 6920's have been advertised in the 900's. Granted you've upgraded yours but those are nib. 9ish makes sense, but the market is really saturated now with Whittaker'e selling new Ruger AR's at under 500.

Personally I think your price is reasonable but you have to find a buyer, etc.

I just saw your ad and you have it priced right with the $130 trigger, Magpul SL handguard upgrades. I'm not sold on the buffer and extractor springs but it's priced right.

Just a matter of wrong time to sell AR stuff.
