Which has the most knock down power in the handi rifle 45-70 or 500 sw mag?, both have 22in barrels.

If bullet weights are equal then I doubt whatever gets hit with either one would have to be run down for a finishing round.

The .500 will eventually shoot loose. The .45-70 is a much better choice, and most .45-70 Handis will shoot 1" or better groups at 100 yards. The .500s are not as accurate.
