Could someone tell me what the difference in weight between the 1A and 1B both chambered in '06? Also, is the balance a noticeable difference? Thanks

A 1a will go 8 lbs.+ scoped and a 1b will 9lbs.+ scoped depending on how much figure there is to the wood and what size scope you mount. I find the 1a rather enjoyable to carry while the 1b is rather cumbersome. Just my opinion. Some prefer the 1b and claim it is a little less lively. You can check Rugers web site for exact weights. I don't think ruger makes the 1b any more. Good luck.
