winchesterpoor's stock search got me to thinking, but I didn't want to hijack his thread. I am looking for a Pre '64 Monte Carlo "beater" stock, standard rifle, standard barrel. Dings are fine, even big ones. Bad finish is fine. Refinish is fine. Cut for pad is fine as long as it is not terribly short. Basically, I want a Pre '64 stock I don't have to worry about. Something that is sound, but messed up enough that you don't want to spend any significant effort on because there is not much upside. If you have something, please PM me.
