Just seeing whats out there. I may need a couple hundred in the near future.
Last time I saw it available it was $30-something/100, or about 50% more than Hornet brass. I reckon the prices might be a bit more than that now.
(Thanks Mr. Obama - your ideas of economic expansion are..........interesting..
)
I cannot find ANY factory bee brass. I am not short on loads right now. But would like to secure a little more for a fair price.
Get you some 32-20 brass from midway (its in stock) and form it. Its half the cost of .218 bee brass. That's what I do.
Check out the link below for step by step instructions on forming 218 Bee brass from Starline Brass 32-20 caliber.
500 pieces of new 32-20 brass will run you around $120.00 shipped. It is very simple to do.

What is fair, or are you willing to pay for once fired in a Win mod 43, poor mans mod 70.? very best WinPoor
PS, the last dog done box of loaded ammo I bought in Tallahassee FL was 98 bucks! granted it was a box of 50 but chit, 2 bucks a pop is hard to go! WinPoor
Certainly leaning toward using the 32-20 to build stock for now. I cant see paying 65$ or more that seems to be the going rate for 50 bee brass. 100-150$ for 50 rounds of ammo seems insane. But its on gunbroker.
By the way Winpoor, I love my 43!!! I have toyed with the notion of adding a Hornet.
