Um....re: the Conquest, I think that you are referring to Meopta....not Minox.

Got one
Thanks heads up
Thanks for all the support on this sale, these scopes are flying out of here
Do the BDCs have two or three lines below the reticle intersection?

Three
Thanks Doug. Do you have subtension values for these? I think the subtension chart on your website is for the previous model with two hashmarks.

I searched through the Minox site and couldn't find anything. I sent an e-mail to Minox to see if they could send a link
Awesome deal! Just bought one! Thanks Doug
Thanks for all the support on this offer. FYI, we are beginning to run low on these scopes
something like this?

can someone break down the BDC for someone who doesn't understand all them numbers.
Dre- that link is for previous models, which used a 200 yard zero and had two lines below the reticle intersection, one for 300 yards and one for 400. Doug received a similar chart for the current models and forwarded it to me. Below is that part of the chart for the 3-9x and it's sitting over the top of a ballistics chart from jbmballistics.com. Not knowing what 150 gr. bullet Minox used, or the elevation, I used a Partition and 2000' elevation in jbm. The calibration they're citing is just to kinda let us know what they used to figure out how far below the crosshair to put the lines. Different bullets, velocities, elevations, etc. will all generate different drops and drifts that won't match exactly where they've put the drop lines and how wide they made the drift lines.

The cells I've highlighted in yellow are how much the reticle "covers" in inches at 100 yards on 9x. The numbers in the column to the left of these cells are on 3x. On 9x, you can see the heavy section is 1.62" at 100 yards, the thin section 0.24", and the thin opening 25.08". A difference on the current models from the chart you linked is that the current reticle uses a 100 yard zero with drop lines for 200, 300, and 400.

The "vertical distance" numbers in the highlighted cells are how far below the crosshair, in inches, the particular line is. But, remember that these measurements are figured at 100 yards, so you'd have to multiply the numbers by 2, 3, and 4 to get the actual measurements at 200, 300, and 400 yards. For example, the vertical distance for 300 yards is shown as 3.34". Multiplying that by 3, the actual space between the crosshair and 300 yard line would be 10.02" if you were looking at a target at 300 yards. You can see on the jbm chart in the background that it is showing 10.2" drop at 300 yards.

As for the windage lines, the numbers highlighted are the total widths. You'd divide that number in half, because you're only using one side of the vertical line or the other, and then again multiply by 2, 3, or 4 to get the actual numbers at the distances the lines are for. The lines are based on a 10 mph full value wind, meaning perpendicular to your line-of-sight.

This being a second focal plane reticle, the magnification needs to be on max for the drop and drift lines to approximate shooting at those distances and wind speed.

Hope that makes sense and helps. I think you can right click and view the image to make it bigger.

Thank you
Shouldn't this stuff be easier to find on their web site?
Had to pick one up at that price. Thanks.
Is it really good for such a low price?

We are blowing these out at more thqan half off. It is a good scope, no worries
I just had one delivered, just stuck it in the safe, waiting for a rifle deal to come up. I think there are seven or eight new scopes waiting with this one.

I feel your pain. I'm constantly buying scopes for guns I don't have yet, mostly out of production models that I have an affinity for. I just ordered five of the Minox, but four are for co-workers...
Would this scope work well for a ruger 10\22?
any reason not to use on this rifle?
I just got it in the mail. very clear view.
I think it might be little too big for 10/22 and cross hairs are a little thick. For $100 its a steal and you wont loose $ if you decide to sell it.
At the same time I might put it on my 22 bolt action.

I see no reason it would not be good for you

The 100 yd parallax setting may not be the best for anything under 50 yds but lots of folks make do despite that. For the money it seems to be nice glass with a good warranty. I have a ZA3 on a light 30-06 and it's been great in the 2 years I've had it but I've only ran about 80 rds through that gun with the Minox as it's strictly a hunting rifle.
I didn't know that much about Minox scopes, so I did a little searching. They seem to be very well thought of.

Got mine today. I agree with Dre completely. Nicest scope I've ever owned for that price.

I've got 4 new scopes waiting to play musical chairs with rifles. Couldn't pass on the recent Redfield deal from Doug either. Going to upgrade a few, and replace a few I'm moving to upcoming winter projects.

I've only owned bins before this scope. I've been very impressed with their glass. So far my opinion is that the performance exceeds the cost of their optics. High value.
One last question. I have a bushnell banner trophy 4 x 32 on my muzzle loader. Would I be better served moving this to the 10/22 and putting the minox on the muzzle loader? thoughts for or against?

That may be a good move. Myself, I wouldn't mind the Minox on my 10/22. I have a Vortex on my 10/22 currently.
We are now sold out of the Plex version and have a few of the BDC's left
