Anyone using these? I was looking at them today, and they seemed decent. There's a good sale on them right now too. Any feedback is appreciated.
Apparently not.
I don't use much in the way of Cabelas brand and I sure wouldn't trust it to something as critical as my sight unless I really knew it was good.
Maybe I'm wrong in this assumption, but anything with a retailers name on it automatically gets the presumption of crap and has to prove itself decent.
Frankly, with all the good optics out there, I don't have the time, patience, or money to explore that kind of scope whether it be Cabelas, Scheels, or otherwise.
I would bet a good number of serious hunters have similar personal rules they follow.
I have one of the 2.5 x 10 x 50mm and it is very nice, crisp, clear, and holds zero. So far it's been good.
