Anyone have first hand knowledge who makes lowest 30mm scope rings to fit picatinny/weaver type bases? Prefer aluminum.

I confirm Ken Farrell's are the lowest and they make them in Steel and Aluminum.

High quality, rock-solid, I seriously doubt I'll ever have an issue with them.

Not aluminum, but right about .750 ring center line to top of base.

Burris 30mm Zee rings and Burris bases will get pretty low on a Rem 700
