I have a scope in a pair of medium Leupold PRW rings, but the rings weight roughly 8 ounces. Any recommendations for a lighter 30mm medium ring that will fit Weaver/1913 bases?

thanks,

Okie John

The lightest 30mm ring that will fit a Weaver Slot is Ken Farrel, they are also the lowest.

TPS HRT rings are light weight and fit Weaver slots.

As iddave posted above, Warne Mountain Tech will fit weaver slots (although I failed to indicate such on my list).

This thread has loads of info.

@Akwolverine, I wasn’t aware Vortex Precision Matched rings fit Weaver slots. The spec could have changed or I could be wrong. Please follow up if you see this.

As far as Seekins branded rings, only their 1” rings fit Weaver slots.

The PMR-30-97-W does fit weaver. Only available in the 0.97 (medium) height. I don’t know why seekins only offers it in the vortex branded option.
I prefer the aesthetics of the seekins to the Warne MT; but the MT are a nice option too as iddave said ...
