The thing is WW alloy is not as consistent as it was a generation ago, plus differences between manufacturers can compound the issue. Therein lies the reason behind some guys saying straight WWs don't make for good bullets. Generally speaking though if one runs the pot at high temp, pretty good results can be had from almost any straight WWs. It's usually best to do a sample casting and only if necessary add some tin to sweeten the pot.
Those are truly some nice ones Creeker. Why are you wasting time photographing them and not shooting them?
