You would think that Fani Willis has never been in a courtroom to witness credible testimony. She is playing every possible card to deflect and obfuscate the facts. There is a lot centered around their unsubstantiated claims that she paid her own way with cash. There is no way that they can prove she did and the way she is describing how she came about all that cash does not come across credible at all.
She tries to control the narrative so much with her answers that she got into a big conflict with the judge. He warned her and was very restrained, but it seems a forgone conclusion she will be disqualified based on her own testimony. Wade's was the worst I have witnessed, but Fani's topped it by a long shot.

She went as far as to bring her dad's advice into testimony that "women" should always have $200 on them when they go on a date and have 6 months of expenses in cash in her house. She said "But don't tell my dad that I don't have that much...." The judge has to keep every bit of his professional obligation to take each word of testimony at face value at this point. I caught Wade saying that he put all (or almost all) of their travel on his business card. Made me wonder if he claimed it as a business deduction. He certainly didn't say he offset the expenses by the cash he was "reimbursed" by Fani because they both testified there was no record, deposit slips, or ledger recording the amounts.

It isn't about the relationship. It is about the profiting off all of this. Hence the litany of questions surrounding the trips and mysterious cash payments as reimbursement.
It's difficult to predict how a judge will rule, but today's hearing looked bad for both Willis and Wade. He paid for luxury vacations and she claims to have reimbursed him in cash, but there is no audit trail to prove that. I think it's likely she will be taken off the case.

Not sure. As far as the special prosecutor he invoked his 5th amendment privilege in a pleading to the court. He's gone FOR SURE.
As for the DA, there is testimony that she lied to the court about her relationship and when it started to the court. She also has a very flimsy alibi about reimbursing her lover for trips with mysterious wads of cash. If the judge decides she lied or benefited financially from her relationship with the SP, she's gone FOR SURE

While he says he separated personal and business (why do you put your vacations on the business card?), he admitted he didn't keep receipts and then both he and Willis admit she reimbursed him with cash - and she could not produce bank statements to show where or when the cash was withdrawn.
both of them had to come up with very elaborate and implausible reasoning to define their actions, and in Wades case, he was caught in two lies regarding when he had sex with Fani (he declared he never did in his divorce proceeding, but claimed he never did while married in this issue) and then his justification to support not being with Fani - it was covid, he had surgery and was scared of germs, but then admits he goes to airports, restaurants, and shopping during this time.

Wade did not do a very good job of remembering his pre scripted replies to questions. That's why Willis came storming in to take the stand, even though she was not listed as a witness. She had to correct and reinforce their collaborated statements. THEN HER daddy had to spread the jam on her statements. Daddy as in biological daddy, not sugar daddy as in Wade. All three of them being lawyers, and you think this was not strategically orchestrated. Would not surprise me if the judge dismisses the case, and wade goes on enjoying his sandwich's.
