Watch last nights O'Reilly show. In his talking points he want gun registration (how that will solve anything aludes me). He wants the fed government to be able to prevent a person from crossing state lines with "heavy weapons" like the AR-15 and background checks for all gun sales. Still trying to figure out how any of that will solve anything.

Marko Rubio agreed with him on all of it including mandatory training. Rubio also said it is already a requirement in FL. for guns to be registered. Is this true?

I heard clips of Rubio running his mouth somewhere, most likely fox news in the morning, from the O'Reily interview. Rubio ruled himself out as a national candidate with those remarks, as far as I'm concerend.
I have not watched Mr O in a long time. He went moderate and " reasonable " about the time he interveiwed Obama. I only tune in if I know Laura Ingram will be the host(ess).

Heavy weapons now I know that o'really is a spineless POLS that has a hernia. Rubio is another moderate stinking POS he dropped his pants in public over this.
Heard rubio on Hannity today. Sounded fine with no BS thoughts on heavy weapons or national registration. So I hope we get very detailed video and spoken words from Rubio before we throw him under the shooting bench.

Maybe Rubio is pandering to each show's veiwers. I was shocked when I heard him say that he supported mandatory training and registration.

Well again, not to be flippant, but in what context was that said? Mandatory trainging in the classroon would be great! But mandatory training to buy one - not so much. Registration? Again of what? Everything? Handguns? AR's?
We need more clarification.
I watched the segment on Oreilly with Rubio last night. I may be wrong, and Rubio may indeed be for registration, but they were talking past each other. The discussion was about CCW's, and Rubio was still talking about that when Bill changed the subject to a more broad statement. I thought Rubio was still talking about CCW's and Bill was taking his statements on that to mean he agrees with his foolishness on AR's and Ak's.

If ya looked under the table ya would have seen them stroking each other.
Well right now, Rubio is the top contender for 2016. That's a century in politics but he can win many followers if he is truthful and solid with his thouhts.

Fair enough. As I said, I only heard the clip on the morning news. I will see if I can find the complete interveiw and give it a listen.

Ernie
Rubio = 12 Million more democrats voting against our gun rights..
I have it recorded so I'll have to double check, but I am pretty sure after Rubio got done talking about CCW O'Reilly asked him if he agrees with O'Reillys talking points. Rubio said yes.

I didn't see the segment, but it sounds like Rubio is talking about CCW with mandatory training. I hold a FL CWFL and training, including range time, is required to qualify for it. You can substitute your hunters safety course for the training. This is route I took. There is, however, no registration of firearms in Florida. Florida is also a "shall issue" state. If you meet the minimum requirements and pay your $120, you get your license.
Marco Rubio is an unaccomplished moron that the Republican party has picked as an ethnically suitable candidate in their hopes of gaining the support the Hispanic population. He's an idiot who's only marginally better than Obama and being Cuban the Mexican illegals the Democrats imported will never support him so the Repubs are out of luck if they think he is the future of the party. We are doomed in this country if Rubio is the best we can come up with.
Nope...

He said he agreed with O'R's talking points. He agrees with registration.
Yep. Just rewatched it. O'Reilly asked him specifically about registration. He said yes to registration.

Isn't that special?

Doesn't matter who the GOP will trot out in '16 - the result will be the same; another damn DEM in office..

Just watch........

Which is THE main reason gun owners will never vote for him..

Last - O'Reilly's a left-leaning moderate bloviating fool when it comes to firearms.. Screw him...

His opponent or his questioners would keep calling him back to what he has stated and get his tongue wrapped around himself so tightly that wouldn't be able to help contradicting himself.

He needs considerable seasoning before he'll be ready for a national ticket.

No. Rubio's just another neocon.

Only if they drag out another neocon in the pattern of Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney, and Rubio. They can win it if they choose a populist, traditional, conservative like Rand Paul. But from past patterns, they're not likely to make a smart choice like that, and we will likely get another Democrat in office after Obama.

Let's hope he never gets that seasoning, then.

Bill O'Reilly lays a plan for total centralization of all gun crimes, insane mandatory sentencing, Federal restrictions on movement throughout the country with your property, Federal databases of ownership, and Federal background checks for everything. Then Marco Rubio comes on and says he had no problems with any of it. The following are O'Reilly's quotes:

"Talking Points has no problem with background checks or with gun registration."

"What President Obama can do is make all gun crimes, Federal crimes."

"Congress can forbid individuals from crossing state lines with certain types of weapons."

"What would work is a 10 year mandatory federal prison term for anyone convicted of any gun crime in the Windy City or anywhere else in America. Rob a Seven Eleven with a gun, 10 years in the Federal pen. Illegally possess a gun, same deal, 10 years!"

"Limiting heavy weapons like assault rifles should be considered by the individual states. Background checks on gun buyers should be mandatory and so should gun registration."

"The situation will not get any better in Chicago, or anywhere else, until gun crimes are federalized."

Blasphemer !

That is no way to talk about the Cuban Jesus of the R party.
Lots of posters on the 'fire wanted a Rubio as Romnut's running mate. Seems as though there are a lot of neocons lurking here.
