They don't have to come here to study, they can stay home.

Yep tell them to go back to their own country.
They should stay home, then. How many muzzie terrorists got into this country on student visas, I wonder?
chit, I see lots of them renting guns at indoor ranges, and having a fine time doing what they can't do at home! Men & women, both!
Yeah, I used to work at an indoor shooting range, and a heckuva lot of our business was with Japanese, who'd come here to help set up the Toyota plant in Georgetown,KY. They weren't shy about spending money, either, and liked Magnums, for some reason. Even the girls liked shooting.
Anybody who is scared of guns, the second amendment and/or liberty can get/stay the [bleep] out. ANYBODY.
Send em to Hillsdale College where they can get a phD in shooting. ;-{>8

Then they can go home as missionaries.
thats ok. I am scared of John Kerry and his agenda to destroy America.
Kerry and his buds want more Muzzies here so we have more incidents as happened today in Boston. Dot Gov. Will try to protect us from them, for a price, but no armed guards will be in schools.
Foreigners are taught to fear weapons, not respect them.
That means we need more.
My wife had a student in her office the other day from Dubai. He was telling her how much he liked the climate here, the area, the people, the whole deal. He said when he expressed a desire to come to graduate school in the US his mother went ballistic, was sure he'd be shot or beaten to death.
Impossible.

Universities and schools are "gun free" zones. There's nothing to be scared of.

Either Kerry is lying (are his lips moving) or he's lying....
Good.
i liked every post i red blush...and i agree wit them all. i'llbdammed
They are afraid of gang bangers with guns, not guns.
BFD, they can keep their sorry chickenchit liberal communist asses at the house.

Foreign Students 'Scared' of Guns in America

As well they should be!
My army roommate at language school was Japanese

That mofo loved to go out shooting me

The overseas press still see us as a bunch of uncivilized cowboys.
My twin brother moved to London 20 years ago and just loves to crtisize the need for more than one firearm. Had to remind him our Dad owned over20 firearms and was in the NRA when we were kids. He is a brainwashed socialist now but begs me to shoot my evil assault weapons when he visits theUS

"one of the responses I got from our officials from conversations with parents here is that they're actually scared."

So Kerry knows a guy, who knows a guy, who told him that.

In any case it's a load of crap. As has been pointed out, they enjoy shooting.
Nobody's holding a gun to their head to come here... or are they?
And we give a schit why?
Not a problem tell them to stay at home.
I hope more of them stay scared, and IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES!

I'm "scared" of Politicians! I RESPECT chainsaws, guns, outboard motors, log splitters, automobiles, ATV's, wood chippers..... the list goes on and on. I CAN say that not ONE of my firearms has ever tried to harm me. -TomT

I care even less about what John Kerry says because he is a moron and always has been.
Agree, tell them to stay at home, we dont want their sorry azz here.
You know, Japan has a nasty little secret about how safe things are there w/o guns. I won't post any links, but I'll tell you it happens on the trains. There's some people who could have used guns and didn't have one.

Gee, one wouldn't be named Barry Soetoro, maybe? Home? Indonesia, Hawaii?
Maybe under his muzzy name?

I want to see those damn college transcripts......

And I demand (Kerry) we "do something" about free ride foreign nationals going to school on our dime and killing my countrymen and kids.
Well , they can go study in messico

Then they can be scared of guns and machetes and...

Mike
What was the point of this article? I work at a university and there is no shortage of foreign students. And even if there were less students from abroad, how does that really change anything? There are plenty of US born citizens that would love to take their place in grad school.
The point of the article WAS TO TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY FROM US.
Kerry is simply not credible. Possibly he got this idea from other government (foreign service) sources who report on what parents tell them, but the vast majority of non-US people do not share it.

At least, I never hear this from anyone in Japan, and I'd bet he is likely referring to it rather than other countries.

And then there's that. grin

We could just have a travel warning about avoiding democrat run urban centers, that would make things safer for visiting students and tourists, wouldn't it?
Kerry: Foreign Students 'Scared' of Guns in America

Don't mean to be rude here, but isn't the person of interest in the Boston fiasco a foreign student?
It would appear that Mr Kerry has more to fear from the foreign students than the residents with firearms.

May be not for long
Hunting license to have gun, or be here legal 90 days to buy.

I highly doubt a country full of Japanese people would be anymore dangerous if they were allowed firearms, but let's see them outlaw swords and watch what happens.

I disagree, the c_nts caused an awful lot of problems the last time they were allowed to play with firearms.
Kerry opens his mouth and schitt dribbles out. They're old dried up horse turds, but chitt none the less. There is no restraint upon the part of the liberal politicians b/c they know the national media will not call them to task.

I can't stand to look at him and his 70s haircut. Puppet, moron.

Yes sir.
IMO Kerry is on par with Jane Fonda. I suspect he is the one afraid of guns. I think I still have some Viet Nam Veterans Against John Kerry bumper stickers.

Preach on brother.John Kerry of the Ketchup dynasty.
I have a very good friend who is English. He had not been around guns in Britain but had an open mind. I took him to the range and bird hunting and he enjoyed it but still had misgivings about guns for self defense. As he became more Americanised his open mind stayed open. He married an American girl and became a citizen himself. After 9/11 he was thinking about self defense guns for himself and his wife. I have not seen him in a while, but if he doesn't own guns by now I would be suprised. Kerry doesn't know as much about how people in other countries or the US think as much as he believes.
Foreign students can stay in whatever craphole they call home.
Kerry should have told em they had nothing to worry about. After all he's an old hand with firearms grin

Sorry, bad information. Japan forbids possession of swords except under very limited circumstances as well are carrying knives with blades over 2.5 cm. That is not to say that the law is observed by those who are meant to be covered.

I do agree with you that Kerry's comment is totally puerile. He is a complete politician, willing to say anything that supports his leader's agenda.
Good! [bleep] off and stay home.
A little healthy fear is a good thing.

No argument with that. But why aren't they afraid of bombs going off in crowds and planes flying into buildings?

Steve.
31,690 Japanese commited suicide last year, 24.4 per capita. Without the help of firearms... Seems to me they ought to more worried about killing themselves than being killed by someone else.

Well whatever bird he is getting ready to shoot lottsa luck, appears to me he ought to listen to jumping Joe Biden and just shoot thru the door and see later if he scores. Can't help it, everytime I see a liberal politician with a gun in their hand I hope for an accident. Magnum Man
I was in Hawaii (Oahu) a couple weeks ago. There were folks walking around the beach and downtown area advertising indoor gun clubs / ranges right there with assault weapons and semi-auto pistols for rent. I stopped one of them and asked who their customer are. One-word answer: JAPANESE.
"Kerry: Foreign Students 'Scared' of Guns in America"

Tough Shyte.

Good. Stay home
We have an exchange student from Germany that thinks our gun freedoms here are awesome! Members of her American exchange family have taken her shooting several times, and she loves it. Says she doesn't want to go back to Germany.
I know a young man from Germany that graduated from OSU. He said he will never return to Germany because he couldn't own the .45 on his belt.

I imagine that's a very common reaction for Europeans exposed to the relative liberty enjoyed in the US for the first time in their lives.
"Either Kerry is lying (are his lips moving) or he's lying...."

Of course he's lying. His lips are moving. mad Even our Pug dog knows he's a liar.
Abiut two months ago I was at the range when a small group (5) of Japanese gentlemen showed up with this American dude. They had a whole passle of guns to shoot andd the asked if I'd help out? I am a handgun safeetry instructor in the Arizona Hunter Education program so as I was just packing up to go home i said, "Sure. Why not?" Couple of the guns I did not recognize as I'm not up on most new foreign stuff and a couple of unknown to me assault style rifles. I just don't have all that much interest in those styles but I'm a quick learner. wink
Those Japanese gentlemen were ecstatic on being able to shoot so many different guns and the nice part was I first had to demonstrate my prowess with each firearm before they would let me teach them. shocked grin cool Guess that's some kind of prerequisite back in their country. I never turn down a chance to shoot for free. Dispite only one of them spoke any English at all we got along fine and I'm sure I made some good friends in the process. Guess they'l have some stories to tell about guns and shooting when they get back home. I just hope they had as much fun as I did. I gave the guy who brought them my contact info and told him if he has another group sometime down the road, that I'd be more than happy to help out.
Paul B.

Its a bold face lie, foreign student enrollments in American Schools are at an all time high. Yea its a big deal for the Japanese, they go to Guam for the purpose of shooting every kind of gun you can think of, and they pay dearly for it too. At the time I was out that way the H+K MP-5 was the popular one to shoot.

Looks like he was surprised in the middle of snapping off a slim jim.
Just more lies from the COMMUNIST LIBERAL LEFT,besides if they don't like it we should GLADLY deport their asses back to their 3rd world countries.
With the 911 hijackers and Cho at VA Tech maybe Americans should be "Scared" of foreign students. Screw them and Kerry.
I'm still laughing at the picture....worth a thousand words LOL
