After the "secret bill" buried in the $1.1T budge resolution has been uncovered, the gloves are coming off. The "secret" is to allow the IRS to continue to target groups like the Tea Party?
Boehner knew it and condoned it. He is the new Enemy #1.

Don't you mean the Tea Party prepares for fight against the Democratic Republican Party?
About time.

"Doesn't it seem like [today] we have a Corrupt Bastards Club in D.C.? On steroids?"
Sarah Palin
"The Mother of All Wars"
Saddam Hussein, conservative president of Iraq!

Makes you laugh!
It is interesting to watch the totally different response of the R's and the D's when the base becomes unruly.

When the Blacks get stirred up about the D's taking them for granted, the Party makes an effort to reassure them.

The R's go into attack mode when the Conservative element of their Party criticizes them.

McCain, McConnell, Peter King, etal uses harsher rhetoric against Rend Paul and Ted Cruz than they've ever used against Reid and Obama.

Considering the viability of the two different threats posed, a man would think the responses would be exactly opposite.

Makes me think that the R's are more intent on holding onto personal power than in advancing their Party.

It doesn't surprise me at all. A few years back we'd have eight years of RINO rule in the Governor's mansion. Sebelius was running and we had a good conservative to run against her. The Governor didn't endorse the Republican candidate until the last minute because he was too "radical". The local Republican Chairperson advised my inlaws to vote Democrat against the conservative. The guy lost and we got Sebelius.
I will be trying to make a statement during the primaries. I already have been telling the RNC, when they are begging for money, that I can give them none since they act like Democrats. miles
The primaries are the only elections where we matter.

I'd say your thinking's right on track.

I've come to the conclusion that the Republican party is just as much to blame for the decay of our freedoms and the constitution as the uninformed Dem's who simply vote for whoever their favorite reality TV star votes for.
While I don't agree with everything Libertarian, the Tea Party/Libertarian faction may well be the only way out of this mess IF there is indeed a way out.
Since the 2nd term of GWB I've not given one dime to the Rep party. Won't either. It's not that I have a considerable war chest but all my donations will go to the Tea party reps.

I've been a Republican for many years, casting my first vote for Goldwater in 1964. Things have changed and I won't vote for any of the current incumbents this time around.

I feel better already about the upcoming primaries.

We won't prevail in all instances but we can make our presence known, and THAT's what's got the RNC scared.
I recommend you prevent your right of center party moving to the left.

I left a 2 party left of center country to immigrate to the land of the free. It can be lost if you allow it.

Never forget the concept, they represent "you", They must remain "your" humble servant.

THIS in Spades!

Voting for Goldwater was my second vote and things have changed.

Even Goldwater changed later on, but what he stood for in 64 and wrote in Conscience of a Conservative is still rock solid Real Conservatism.

And exactly what is needed today to turn the ship hard starboard.
I have been saying for some time now that the Republican Party is to the Washington Generals what the Democrat Party is to the Harlem Globetrotters.

The purpose of the Republican Party is to make the Democrats look good in the political arena.

Then they have failed in their mission.

As bad as RINOs look, the far Left and Obama look much worse.

They all took some heavy hits in the last mid-terms and will again in ten months.

Hard starboard! Bring her into the wind and set course for 2016.

Amen. Haven't given a dime to the RINO party since 2005. Won't ever again.

I say they have succeeded in the mission quite well. The ship is still steaming full speed ahead no matter how many times we rearrange the deck chairs.
They need to get on the same page.

The major problem is this can cause a split in the conservative vote, and the liberals win ever time. This was proven in Virginia.

It's never going to happen. Two different ideologies.

That's why I always tell people to vote for the best candidate in the primary, then vote party line in the general.
Didn't have a primary for the Republican Governor in Va this last campaign cycle. It was a back door deal. They selected a Rhino and got beat.

Well, they also had a billionaire liberal out of Austin pumping money to the Libertarian, to cause a split in the conservative vote and, it worked. Go figure.
At least Cooch didn't lose by as much as the polls were predicting. McAwful seemed a little subdued at least.
Whatever.

In the general election you should be maintaining party discipline. Otherwise you end up with the worst candidate like you did in VA.
The Tea Party has my support.
The R's have certainly not stood up for a true Right of center alternative. But they are still better than the Dems and I don't see them as the same. The current Democratic Party has gone full blown socialist and the only thing slowing them down is the Republicans. I will certainly be looking for more Tea Party style candidates, but in some cases there will be a choice of the lesser evil.
They say State Senate District 21, Craighead County deep in the Arkansas Delta has been a Democratic stronghold since Reconstruction.

Arkansas just had a special election to replace Democratic State Senate Paul Bookout.
The issues were expansion of state Medicaid and ObamaCare.
The Democrats outspent the Republicans 3 to 1.

The Republican upset was a blowout:
Republican John Cooper: 4,314 (57.21%)
Democrat Steve Rockwell: 3,227 votes (42.79%

2014 mid-terms are in less than ten months.
Probably what the Whigs were saying about the Republican Party.
Evil always ends up winning.
I see a time when the Tea Party will have sufficient volume to become a swing vote. When that happens the powers will come courting.

The truth is the Primaries is where the TP gets to choose the biggest Kook who has no chance of winning in the general election. Examples include...Herman Cain, Santorum and Rick Perry. So you have to ask yourself....do you really matter?

Speaking of losers, who ya got for bench players for when the old lady gets sick and tired of answering questions about the last eight years of Obama and dodging BengasiGate.

Joe Biden? Howard Dean? Elizabeth Warren? Cuomo? O'Malley? Schweitzer?

The powers that be have already thoroughly corrupted the 'Tea Party'.

It was pure...for about 10 minutes.
"Tea Party prepares for fight against entrenched GOP."

Instead of fighting each other, together they could beat the Dem's.
Resistance if futile.

You're already here.
Indeed...Kooks like Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, etc.....Not to be confused with bastions of sanity like Sheila Jackson Lee, Nancy Pelosi (ya gotta pass it to see what's in it), Hank Johnson (Guam will tip)...yeah, them Dems is smart......
Yea,don't forget this gem from the President "If you like your doctor, you can keep him. If you like your insurance company, you can keep them."

I REALLY don't like Santorum, but ANY of the three KOOKS you mentioned are waaaay preferable to ANYBODY on the Dem radar screen.

You and Karl Rove make a pair.
Rove's mantra, which NWA parrots, is a self fulfilling prophecy. "Don't vote for a loser".

But anybody who fails to vote in the primary for the guy HE personally believes is the best candidate, regardless of the "loser" tag the RNC applies to him, is just a useful idiot.

David Dewhurst is light years better than any of the N.E. Republicans, but Ted Cruz, the "loser", is better than Dewhurst and thank God we elected him in the primary.

Do all the fighting in the primaries, then rally round the flag for the general.

This time the Dont Tread on Me flag.

Vote T-party in the primaries and party line in the general. The alternative is disaster, a Democrap House and Senate. smirk
I'd say that on a 10 pt commie "y" axis scale; the dem's being 9 and the reps being 8.5, the tea party looks to be about 3.5 with less slope, maybe even an inverse.

News that Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn will retire at the end of 2014, triggering a special election for his deep-red Senate seat in November, creates an unexpected opportunity for the deep bench of Oklahoma GOP pols to seek a higher office.

That means the Republican primary to replace Coburn could be a free-for-all.
Three of Oklahomas five U.S. House members are seen as potential candidates: Reps. Tom Cole, James Lankford and Jim Bridenstine.

Gov. Mary Fallin announced Friday morning that the special election to fill Coburns seat will be held on Oklahomas regular election days this year: a primary on June 24, runoff election on Aug. 26 if necessary, and the general election on Nov. 4.
The filing deadline is April 11.

I'm heartened to see some have figured out the "way forward".
Carry Tea Party conservatives in the primaries as far as you can. Clean house locally. Due your phone calling and door knocking. Do the best you can. But then vote for the republican, whoever it is. If they are moderate or progressive, don't let them rest. Stay in frequent but respectful contact with them.
Continue to expand the conservative base for the next term.
This slide to liberalism didn't happen over night in the GOP, it may not get corrected faster than you wish.

But under no circumstances, comtemplate or participate in a 3rd party election. That........is a recipe for disaster.
That is what the democrats want us to do.
That's too bad about Sen. Coburn. I know he has been battling iirc, prostate cancer. Hope he has an excellent prognosis.

Speaking of losers

Old man..... Have you forgotten who won in 2012. Get ready for the mid terms! It is going to be an eye opener for the Old White Mans Party.

I think you are a very sore looser! See quote!
Didnt think you would have an answerheres the question one more time.
