Brenna had a track meet today and in the Relay she got 4th and 200 meter dash she got 7th.

For some of us, it isn't really "fun", we just have an "urge" to not be a lard-azz. There is however, a feeling of accomplishment to be able to go out and run four or five miles, and be no worse for wear, just like there is when you load your body weight on a barbell and lift it off of the floor and put it over your head.

Congrats Brenna! I'm very happy for you. Running races and just running for the love of running is so much fun. Keep it up. You will have the opportunity in life to meet a lot of people who share your love. The discipline it takes to train will help you in other endeavors in life.

I ran numerous 5k's, 10k's, half marathons, 20 marathons and 1 ultra marathon [over 20 years] before my "urge" to run significantly decreased. Our joints only have so many miles on them ..some people are born to run.

Certainly sumptim to be proud of.

As long as she can outrun the boy's.
