More than one political commentator has openly speculated that very thing---he doesn't really want the job and is hedging his bets by claiming the election is rigged. Therefore, when he loses, it won't really be his fault at all.
I don't know what's the matter with him. Instead of talking about how to improve the economy, defeat ISIS, a sane policy toward Iran, and security here at home, he wastes four days denouncing a gold star mother and loses the support of what should be some of his natural supporters.
