I am sick of the blood pressure increasing, daily news as I am certain many of you are. Being around and looking at my four legged brothers and sisters always makes me quit gnashing my teeth so I thought we could use another one of these threads. Remember, God spelled backwards is Dog.

The link NV provided should help you out.

Are you using Flikr or Photofaggot?

Thanks for the assistance-I don't have this photobucket thing that is spoken of-I just have the photos on my computer-as you can tell I am not that savvy w/ this stuff. I have a bunch of good dog pics. but might not be able to post them as I would like to.

Alamosa, we need some heeler pics.

He's young and dumb in this pic. Don't stare at the guy on the left or you'll end up pregnant.

Open an account with photobucket or Flikr. I prefer Flikr because Photofaggot has become a hit and miss proposition.

Once you do that we can walk you through the process of posting the pics.

ok, thank you
Posted By: kingston Re: Dog Pictures - 10/24/16
If using a mobile device or tablet, the slickest way to post pics is with TinyPic. It embeds a key on your device's on screen keyboard. Hit that key (it looks like a globe) and a menu containing all the recent images on your device appears. Select the photo(s) that you want posted. TinyPic uploads the selected pics to the TinyPic server for hosting and inserts a link into the thread reply text box. Hit the submit button on the thread's reply menu and done.

He gets the paper at the front gate every morning and runs the 1/4 mile to the house, takes it inside, and trades the paper for a Milkbone. smile

Bandit weighed over 50 pounds when I had him fixed at the vet's office the other day. He's 6 months old... Gonna be a biggun...

He's my daughter's dog that we take care of because she still lives at home. She moved out and then when she came back, she brought him with her.

She says he's a "Chug". Half chihuahuas and half Pug. The mother was a Pug with a smashed face.

Posted By: New_2_99s Re: Dog Pictures - 10/25/16
Stonemason,

She was hit by a car at a year & a half. No broken bones, but nerve damage in the left arm pit. Vet suggested leaving her for 4-6 weeks to see if the nerves/feeling returned, but it never did. At 4 weeks after the accident, her left forepaw was a mess from dragging it.

Surgery done & she doesn't even know it anymore. Just turned 8 !

LOL 10 years or so ago I had a big ol' Doberman, Cody, who was nearly Great Dane size. Cody, wouldn't of ever bit anybody, he loved everyone. In fact if you would of tried to burglarize my house, he would of helped just in case you would take him for a ride in your truck. But people didn't know that about him, they'ed see him and think "oh crap, look at the size of that big bastid danger". So I had to be careful and introduce him to people so they wouldn't freak out when they saw him come running just cause he wanted to play.

Well, we were at the lake one time (Guernsey Res.), and I Took him over and talked to some people who were in the only other campsite near ours. Did I mention Cody loved children more than anything? While I'm talking to the greenies, Cody finds half a dozen new kids to play with and lots of thrown sticks to get out of the lake, and it's all good.

For the next few days, Cody spent half of his time playing with those kids and half his time at our campsite--I told them, if he gets to be a nuscence , to let me know and I'd keep him over with us, but they'd laugh and say he was doing a wonderful job entertaining their kids.

Well after a couple days went by, they did come over and ask me if I'd keep him away for a while. I was kind of surprised at first, and asked what he did to get in trouble. They laughed again and said he is not in trouble, he is a wonderful dog, but the kids would like to go out floating on their inflatable things and he keeps dragging them back to shore and putting leaks in the blow up stuff. Lol

I offered to pay for some leaky toys, but they wouldn't hear of it. they said it was worth it in amusement just watching a dog who was afraid thier kids were gonna drown when they got past wading water.
grin
