That's crazy. Out of all the random people on the "internets," Keith is someone I knew from this podunk town we both lived in when I was in high school. We frequently ran into each other at the local gun ranges (the school district had an indoor 25-yard range and the county had a pretty damned nice set of outdoor ranges, believe it or not). He was always a nice guy, an engaging guy, and knowledgeable about his abilities. He never tried to impose his will on anyone, he was just a guy who was happy doing his thing. So it's disappointing that anyone would harangue him to the point of leaving.

There was a time when Steelhead had so many people supporting his disgusting comments it was Campfire suicide to challenge him on his posts. Same with a few others. Eventually, guys like that, Stick, Bricktop, et al, the disrespectful ones fell out of favor as guys began to stand up to it. Now they're all but gone. Steelhead is back as girlhunter but he's minding his p's and q's for whatever reason. I don't expect it to last. Too much poison in his soul for me to trust him.

What baffles me is what the hell took so long for people to say something and why anyone put up with it from the beginning. and I thought he was older than dirt even back then, and that was 16 years ago or more...

but I liked the guy.. yeah he was opinionated...took whatever he said with a certain grain of salt level...
he's just one of those type of crusty old guy types I've always liked...finding humor in them being so serious at times..

but Kutes and I had some good interchanges via PM's....

I try my best to get along with people.. any difference I have with anyone, was started by them, not by me...( minus a few trolls.. such as that dumbass post by Stardusty tonight over that guy getting killed at that church shoot out in Texas)... and I don't have a problem with someone, just because we see things differently at times...

heck, I've been out in the field shooting sage rats with Safariman.. he wasn't a bad guy one of one...
on the otherhand it took me about 0.25 seconds to figure out that he, me and my wallet were not going to be a subject of conservation or anything else...people got angry at some of his choices in life.. me, I just felt pity for him and moreso for his victims...but that is between him and God.. not him and seafire..
