I've had several but am down to this one, so I guess that makes it my favorite!

Probably this relatively basic OM 357 conversion Alan Harton did for me many years ago.

[Linked Image]

Number two would be this 5 shot Bisley by Larry Crow.

[Linked Image]
Here is the one I had made for my only grandson.
[Linked Image]
This is mine, a Turnbull redo of a 125th Anniversary
[Linked Image]
4 5/8 Blackhawk

First generation with 3 3/4 inch barrel and Bisley hammer...

[Linked Image]
Damn, that's nice.
[Linked Image]

Ruger RedHawk 4 inch barrel, with wheel wieght cast 325 Gas checked wide meplate bullet, and a healthy dose of H110
The only 45 Colt I have ever owned....

If you don't mind me asking how long is the barrel on your .45, and is that a factory production gun?
Probably my favorite revolver in any caliber: Ruger Vaquero -
45 Colt, blued/case colored, black micarta birds head grip,
with (un-catalogued) 4 5/8" barrel.

Link pictured is 3 1/4" barrel.

Also have a matching Single-Six Vaquero, in 32 H&R Mag. Both, are Old-Models
I want to put on different sights

This one, a Bowen Bisley Vaquero.
[Linked Image]
4-5/8" stainless blackhawk, or the 5-1/2" stainless bisley.
[Linked Image]
My S&W Model 625 Mountain Gun is my favorite 45 Colt chambered handgun. I also really like my Ruger Bisley 45 Colt.

Both great guns!

I like the long one best.

Me three. Like you folks, I'm a man of simple tastes. I bought mine in 2003 or so. It still shoots very well.

12dogs, the barrel is 4.2" on that Redhawk, and yes, it is totally factory production. Ruger re-started production of the Redhawks around the first of the year. It did come with the rubber grips which I changed out as soon as I got it home. They just didn't feel right to me since my other Redhawks have the factory wood grips.

I hope in the spring, after tax season, to order out of the Colt custom shop a 7-1/2" black powder frame with some extras in .45 Colt for black powder shooting. That will be my favorite six shooter if it comes off.
It used to be this 5.5" Collt SAA with ivory...
[Linked Image]
But NOW it is this 4.25" round butt, Freedom Arms 97.
[Linked Image]
Great bunch of guns and thank you all. Keep 'em coming.

The top is a first generation with handmade Rosewood grips...

An unassuming 4 5/8" Ruger Blackhawk - reworked by Bowen.
Shoots like the shooter knows what he's doing!
shrapnel,
Beautiful SAAs, but how are you mounting them? Is that a wall mount?
TIA

Actually, it is the floor in the kitchen with the gun supports under them...
[Linked Image]

I like which ever one has at least 1800 grains of lead and 130 grains of W296 in the cylinder..

They are all first generation with 7 1/2 inch barrels, various calibers...
[Linked Image]
2nd gen Colt SAA, 7.5" barrel with hard rubber grips.
Colt SAA 4.75" and ivory.

Well for awhile it was this one....S&W 25-7 one of 2,000 made with a 5" barrel and unfluted cylinder.

[Linked Image]

But then, I found this darling in a gun library at a Cabela's and offered it to my buddy for a gun to carry while we were in the Bighorns hunting Elk, but he declined it, so I brought it home.
625-6 Mountain Gun in .45 Colt that someone has had a competent gunsmith perform an action/trigger job on that is out of this world smooth!

[Linked Image]

By far my favorite wheelgun now in the entire world.....will be the last gun I let go of......

I too, replaced the rubber grips on mine in favor of the original style wood grips. I like it a lot. The holster is a Simply Rugged.

[Linked Image]
Out of curiosity, any of you guys shooting black powder out of the SAA?
My one and only 45 right now.

Like them both, but that 25-7 is a sweetheart. Don't let that puppy go1
Only have one at the moment, wife's bisley convertable.

I looked a long time for one of those.....and finally found one that a LEO in Detroit had. We worked out deal and I was able to bring it home.

I saw pictures of one that someone chopped the barrel on to make a snubbie out of, and my buddy Evil Twin owns one as well. so that only leaves 1,997 left in the world that might be available! grin

Good luck finding one!
