Well for awhile it was this one....S&W 25-7 one of 2,000 made with a 5" barrel and unfluted cylinder. But then, I found this darling in a gun library at a Cabela's and offered it to my buddy for a gun to carry while we were in the Bighorns hunting Elk, but he declined it, so I brought it home. 625-6 Mountain Gun in .45 Colt that someone has had a competent gunsmith perform an action/trigger job on that is out of this world smooth! By far my favorite wheelgun now in the entire world.....will be the last gun I let go of......

I too, replaced the rubber grips on mine in favor of the original style wood grips. I like it a lot. The holster is a Simply Rugged.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I looked a long time for one of those.....and finally found one that a LEO in Detroit had. We worked out deal and I was able to bring it home. I saw pictures of one that someone chopped the barrel on to make a snubbie out of, and my buddy Evil Twin owns one as well. so that only leaves 1,997 left in the world that might be available! Good luck finding one!
