CZ 527 9 twist 223.....VX3i 2.5-8X36 Duplex in Warn QD's...



It's supposed to rain tomorrow but the Model 10 showed up Wed and the CZ today so I'm going anyway.

Looks like a 527 to me.

Classy lookin' setup....

The rifle's 5.94 #'s.....Scopes 11.5 oz.... + rings, they're steel and heavy....I'm guessing right at 7# all up (empty of course).

A walking varminter....errr, battle rifle.....for a geezer has to be light.

I have had a CZ 7.62 x 39 for years that is an absolute tack driver, even with Russian copper jacketed stuff. The early ones has crazy wood too.

I thought about a 7.62 but since they changed from 12 to 9 twist the 223 just made too much sense.

CZ burned through their good wood pile about five years ago.

The "battle rifle" has a little character but nothing like my 10+ year old 527 Fireball. It's amazing for a factory rifle.
