Oh yeah? Well, I
should be retired, with a place in the mountains and a place on the coast!
You are the winner! I am retired but live in a studio apartment I built. It is a whopping 360 square feet. But it's in the flat land near I-5 freeway. And when I go to the coast I have to pay someone who has a boat. I guess one out of three is not a total looser.
Not at all Ringman, but you're looking at it all wrong. We're not talking about the world as it really is, we're talking about the world as it should be, according to each of our individual preferences.
I'm sure in that world you'd have not only a place on the coast but your own seaworthy vessel, a captain to drive it, and a first mate to cut bait.
But if you had all that, sure as tomorrow someone would come along and say "that's not really fishing, to be a real fisherman you have to drive your own boat and cut your own bait. Because that's how I do it."
