I got to shoot a thousand Sunday. Rare for these parts, just not the terrain or farm size for it around here. Friend of a friend bought an adjoining farm & tore out some fences. The wind was a bit crazy for rookies, 15-25 & switching, but we were able to connect on 1/2 size IPSC targets @1000. Fun, lots o fun.

Not at all Ringman, but you're looking at it all wrong. We're not talking about the world as it really is, we're talking about the world as it should be, according to each of our individual preferences. I'm sure in that world you'd have not only a place on the coast but your own seaworthy vessel, a captain to drive it, and a first mate to cut bait. But if you had all that, sure as tomorrow someone would come along and say "that's not really fishing, to be a real fisherman you have to drive your own boat and cut your own bait. Because that's how I do it." A wise man is frequently humbled.
