Picked up at the local pawn shop a Ruger 77 Hawkeye left hand in 7mm-08 at a good price. 7mm-08 is just not what I really want but a 257 Roberts is more to my liking. I would like find a gunsmith that is a Ruger person.

Dave at ITD has done a bunch for me.

It seems Dave is recuperating from a a medical issue, so he might not be an option for a little while.

Whidden gunworks has done 2 hawkeye actions and one Mark II for me. One is a 5 shot 1 hole grouping gun the other 2 I have not shot.... John Whidden is one of the best LR shooters in the USA, nothing I have seen out of his shop doesn’t shoot well. Burke at Whiddens has done them all.
