Today was a real good day not only did Dad turn 64 but we got to bring home Brooklyn's deer.

I am very proud of my step-daughter and love her very much. She has come a long way in the 2 years she has been living with me and my son. She has accomplished shooting several pistols and rifles. From the 7/08 to AR-15 .223 to a .38 Snub nose to my S&W mdl 19 .357 mag to my Sig p220 .45acp. Heck she has even shot the crossbow. I wont lie I did bribe her with 25 bucks for Starbucks but heck a father has to do what he has to. I will say thins she is a very good shot especially with the 7/08.

More importantly she is 16 has been employed since March, she pays her cell phone and car insurance all by her self and maintained and A & B grade average last year. I am so proud of her, heck she hasnt wrecked her car ..yet.

I have had many great days in my life but the morn of 10-27-12 was no doubt one of the best. I was so proud of her she made a great shot. She did not want to eat the deer so we donated it to feed the homeless. It was funny the lil girl that would never ever go hunting never ever shoot a deer, the first words out of her mouth after she shot the buck was "how many more can i shoot"
She said she would go this year too if I spring for some more starbucks.

Outstanding buck Brooklyn!

Followed by a second outstanding to working hard and paying for some of your bills. My daughter's who are currently 17 and 18 graduated this year and moved out this past month close to be close to work and the college where they will start in the fall.

I don't think you can go wrong with hard work and clean living and you are well on your way.

Hopefully, someday, you find the desire to enjoy game you take in the field.
She eats deer sometimes....... she just doesnt know it

she is the most pickiest eater i have ever seen
Cool beans! You are a lucky man to have such a step daughter!

She will grow out of her picky eating habits when, like her cell phone and her car insurance, she starts paying for her own food.....
