Today was a real good day not only did Dad turn 64 but we got to bring home Brooklyn's deer.
I am very proud of my step-daughter and love her very much. She has come a long way in the 2 years she has been living with me and my son. She has accomplished shooting several pistols and rifles. From the 7/08 to AR-15 .223 to a .38 Snub nose to my S&W mdl 19 .357 mag to my Sig p220 .45acp. Heck she has even shot the crossbow. I wont lie I did bribe her with 25 bucks for Starbucks but heck a father has to do what he has to. I will say thins she is a very good shot especially with the 7/08.
More importantly she is 16 has been employed since March, she pays her cell phone and car insurance all by her self and maintained and A & B grade average last year. I am so proud of her, heck she hasnt wrecked her car ..yet.
I have had many great days in my life but the morn of 10-27-12 was no doubt one of the best. I was so proud of her she made a great shot. She did not want to eat the deer so we donated it to feed the homeless. It was funny the lil girl that would never ever go hunting never ever shoot a deer, the first words out of her mouth after she shot the buck was "how many more can i shoot"
She said she would go this year too if I spring for some more starbucks.
perfect shot placement
