I have this tub of what looks to mostly be AA and some super X 20ga once fired hulls. I will never use these. Is there any market anymore and if so what would be a price point to get them sold? Reposting this question here since I did not see this category earlier.

Yes there is a demand for them. Start at .08-.10 and see if you get any bites.

I bought a bag of 100 AA around 3 years ago, and as I remember, I paid 10 dollars plus tax for them. You might get a little more for them today.

toss the super x's. or at least separate them.
people who use aa's will not use lower quality super x's.

There is a market for the 20’s echo riflegunbuilder….

28ga /410ga will bring .20 to .25 ( especially the older CF = compressed formed AA in 28) 12 ga about a nickel.

Shipping cost for hulls will double or triple the amount of money you will have in them by the time you receive them. They are bulky with little weight.

Best is to get them locally for an exchange face to face.

I'll load any of WW's compression formed hulls AA or Super x in any ga. Their straight wall stuff is junk. When I run out of comp formed 12's I will move to STS and nitro 27. I shoot a lot of cf 16ga ww hulls and won't run out in my lifetime. Cf 20's are OK but feds are good for me. Cf 28's don't gave the longevity that the larger gauges do. 410 's are where you find them. I don't buy any hulls. Might as well buy factory ammo for them..mb

Another vote for selling locally.

The newer hulls aren't junk unless you can't adjust a press or deal with stack height differences. The HS .410 and 28 ga hulls are more durable than the CF versions. First batch of HS .410s went 14 reloads. Haven't switched only b/c have a metric crap-ton of .410 and 28 ga CFs. Not to mention cases of factory.

As for 12 and 20 AAs, hull lifespan - HS vs CF - is comparable. Again, inventory such as it is, I'll never need to switch. Many at the clubs use the HS hulls and no longer whine about the change.

The RP STS is a good hull, the 20 ga version may be the very best hull we've ever had.

Someone here shipped me a bunch of 20g AA hulls in a usps flat rate box. They played them all in there in nice rows kind of like how they come in a box of shells and I think they fit 500 in a medium flat rate.

I cant remember what I paid per hull maybe 8 cents or so but shipping added 4 cents per case. So if I'm in them 12 cents each that's $3 per box. Walmart has AA loads for $11/25 right now so even though they're more than cheap target loads if I figure the cases are $3/25 it's worth it to buy the aa loads.

The hulls I bought here have worked great for loading reduced loads for my kids. Their tiny little moss berg 510 pump kicks a bit because it weighs under 5 pounds and has a tiny little stock. A 5/8 ounce load at 1100 fps has them out enjoying shooting.
