Kimber 22 hornet heavier barrel no sites. Serial is H283B. Barrel measures 21”. Diameter at muzzle is 5/8 with tape. Appears unfired. No rings or scope. Very mint rifle. Will be shipped in a hard case $2175 shipped

Nice rifle, but I thought the "B" suffix indicated that it was a 82B variant that would have a M70 style safety.

It’s an 82B, the model 82’s only had a rocker safety. Only the model 84’s and model 89’s had Winchester safeties. Not very many Kimber of Oregon model 84’s had Winchester safeties. The Kimber model K22 and K17s rimfires had Winchester style safeties.

I have a M82B Super America in 22 Mag with a M70 style safety.

I have an 82 "S" series 22 Hornet with the rocker safety. The OP's gun is a Hornet not a 22 Mag if that might make a difference in the safety
