Purchased Meopta 15x56 binos specifically for a 2023 late season Nevada elk hunt.
Loved them. They found many elk while tripod mounted, until one spectacularly cold and calm morning the focus mechanism on the right side ceased to work.
Used the old reliable 10x Swaros and Leica spotter for the balance of the hunt.
Upon returning home, Meopta was emailed. I received simple instructions to mail them to Florida. They shipped them back to Europe. Three months later they show up on my door, like new.
Great glass. Great warranty.

I had a Meopta branded scope that wouldn't track properly. Like you I got in touch with Meopta, they sent a shipping label and about 7 days later I had a brand new scope at my door.

They didn’t tell you that you first needed to purchase their proprietary rings to make the scope work properly? Now that’s a great company!

once when cabelas was still cabelas and had the bargain cave. They had some 10x42 euro's with non HD. All they were missing was the rubber eye cups. I picked them up for $49 LOL. I called meopta and they shipped new rubber eye cups for free, 30 seconds after getting them I had perfectly working cabelas euro's. Another time I bought the cabelas instinct 3x9 scopes for $125 ea. I think I bought like 10 of them for that price. one year I made $2500 flipping bargain cave optics. don't have much reason to stop at cabelas anymore. its probably been nearly a year since I have been to the store.

Meopta north america is closed. They are closing all but 1 optical plant as they were bought out by a company that will now produce medical equipment. I was told they would still honor there warranty. But who knows for how long.

Did their Customer Service tell you this? If so, very disappointing...

That explains why it was hard to find new Meoptas for sale.
