Guy was flat-frying an incompletely beaten (poorly beaten) egg. Breeze blew window curtain across stove and caught it on fire. Guy abandoned house and called in the fire. Despite the best efforts of the fire department, the house burned to the ground. As they worked their way through the charred, still smoldering remains, they found the stove, with the pan and the egg still sitting on it. Even after that, the white of the egg remained disgustingly runny.
