All featherweights. Am I the only one that really prefers the old Classic? Yes  I like 'em both - as long as they're NH-made... All featherweights. Am I the only one that really prefers the old Classic? I like .30-06 and 7mm RM....I don't want "light" to be part of the gun features. PM coming..

They look like post-NH guns. Most of the crf guns were 7 digit NH guns. A few were BACO.

They look like post-NH guns. I believe all of the Classic Stainless and the XTR rifles were made in NH. There were other rifles that were made by FN in South Carolina.

All featherweights. Am I the only one that really prefers the old Classic? I like .30-06 and 7mm RM....I don't want "light" to be part of the gun features. It's great that we all have our own preferences. It seems like all my old buddies were talking up lightweight rifles, and smaller cartridges. I was in the magnum phase of life then, now as I get older, I see the lighter rifles as very nice. Especially after packing them on elk hunts, where the rifle is in hand 99% of the time. I'll still hunt my m1917 sporters, because they fit me so damn well, and they are like an extension of my arm, but I love the lighter rifles, like my fwt's and Tikkas. You'll eventually get there as well. Enjoy your magnum phase though. Nothing wrong with that either. That way we have guys to sell our magnums and heavier rifles to, when we are ready!!
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

They look like post-NH guns. I believe all of the Classic Stainless and the XTR rifles were made in NH. That is correct. If it says “XTR” or “classic” - it was New Haven.
