My EDC for the last few years has been a Benchmade 810 that I have been happy with. Last week one of the screws holding the pocket clip on fell out/off and is lost. I went on their website and filled out a request for a replacement screw that day because they say it’s warranted. I have not heard anything from them about parts being shipped or the request received. Is this normal in dealing with them? When I get the screws I’ll be putting locktite on them because I I don’t want to fool with something so simple again.

Thanks Paul. I’m sure they’ll get something moving for me. Just kinda strange they haven’t acknowledged my initial request or said replacement part was being shipped.

I'd hand in there. Benchmade has taken care of me when I needed something from them.

They have always taken care of anything I've ever needed (pocket clips, screws etc.) been carrying one for better than 20 years.

last year I sent back two old Bench Made folders that I bought back in the nineties. They made them look like new again for no charge and paid the shipping back. Customer service fellow on the phone said they were more than happy to work on those old timers.
