Wow, great bou. What are the details round your hunt? I'd be curious to hear who you went with on the rock.

I really like the look of those heavily palmated 'bou... It is a shame B&C does nothing to "reward" the width of the bez...

Yeah over toward the East Coast
You probly landed at St John's, Eh boy ? the only reason I said that is all the Newfies call Everybody "boy" no matter what your age! Did you find that true as well ?
I did a few trips to the "oiland" lol
First trip was with Gene Manion out of Deer Lake above Corner Brook in '72.
He's the outfitter that guided Grancel Fitz (founding father of the Boone& Crockett club), to the Worlds Record Caribou(at the time), I believe in about 1968. The story was in Outdoor Life. Next trip was with Harry Newhook in the center of the island on Victoria Lake. Harry guided the next World's record Bou, Shot by a Guy from Wisconsin,That story was in Outdoor life also , about 1970. I went with Harry in 1974 & '75.
You've got yourself one beautiful Caribou there, What a huge Shovel and the Bez are great as well!

Hunted with Bob Efford's of Efford's hunting adventures. Killed a giant 44 inch bull moose in the morning and a B&C Caribou in the afternoon. My buddy also killed a nice moose.
