The pedersoli 86/71 has peaked my interest. I have lots of 45/70 components and no 45/70 anymore. Anyone handled one or own one?

If you go to the Beartooth Shooter's forum, you can read lots of posts on the Pedersolis. A lot of it is less than stellar though. I have handled several of them, and they look and feel nice, but I've just read too many complaints about QC issues to ever lay down the money on one, especially since I already own an '86 Winnie.

I just got a 71 that a friend got when he graduated in 1942.
Enlisted the next day and shot it 4 years later.
