Isn't there a support group for someone that has such a Menefee obsession? Great knives. Easy to understand how you can never get enough.

Hey Vince,

What the hey, I just buy them and use them.

I thought the Knife-Father knew everything, and that Rocky had got those scales from you.

Do Know that I'm gonna put a hot pink bow on it so in case I lay it down while skinning it won't get lost.

What does he call that small one?

I think I like it.

Do they all come with Kydex sheaths?

Sir,

[Linked Image]

That is Rocky's interpretation of his brother Rick's "16 bore"

In this case it has ebony scales. IIRC the steel is AEB-L (used in razors and kitchen cutlery for its resistance to rust and ease of sharpening)

[Linked Image]

and to my mind,

[Linked Image]

it is a "Sweet Sixteen"

and Rocky will provide Kydex or leather sheaths upon request.

Best,

GWB

Thanks GDub

And thanks for the pix.
The more I look at it, the more I like it.

I'm thinking smooth cow bone with red liners in a simple leather holster.

Sweet Sixteen is great, the knife isn't bad either! Classy pictures...

Thank you sir.

My dad was not a hunter. Although he did well, and lived till he was 86, he only owned one firearm. He bought that Browning "Sweet Sixteen" with a gold trigger in Baytown, Texas ( it was called Goose Creek when he was born there in 1923). IIRC it was about 1958 and I would have been 7 yrs. Went with him to get it. I grew up shooting it and now have it in my possession.

It will go to my Grandson, Glen IV, when he is old enough to pour piss out of a boot.

Best,

GWB
