First, there are lots of beekeepers using electric fencing. I believe that is a nice swarm in your picture. We hve started to leave the normal or standard hive and are leaning hard to the Perone Hive believing the less you mess with your bees the better they will be. http://www.bing.com/search?q=perone+hive&FORM=AWRE The first time I shot myself in the head... Sorry to report that when I had to go to he hospital for my extended stay, the bees were lost. I hope to get a bigger swarm this spring and try again.
