I like to think of them as "minneapolites"
Unfortunately they are the voice of the state. Many other states suffer from the same problem, big cities growing at cancerous rates. Poisoning the image of the entire state and steering it off a cliff politically, financially, culturally..... Ignorance breeds ignorance, it explodes like a stupid bomb.
It's happening everywhere in this country...... Yes - it is.. Ala Madison in this state.. I agree that, back to about the VERY early '80s the Twin Cities was a fun place to visit, drive in and/or go to shows, games etc.. Not any longer.. Sadly..

I agree with your first statement. The people left in Norway and the ones in Minnesota are
without a doubt "Norwegians". The rest of us are 'Vikings'.
Who else would have given the 'O' the nobel Prize.
I'v often been asked why I never traveled to Norway. Easy, just too many Norwegians there. Take a look a Sweden sometime. Their immigration policies amount to self-genocide. They're being completely overwhelmed by Muslim immigration but the average Swede still thinks it's a good idea. It makes Minnesota's problem seem minor in comparison.
