Zeus, cleared some room now and replied.  I am about convinced to keep the '06 FN in the Pounder stock. It's light and shoots great, and I need light.

My friend shot one sub-moa. I shot about 1.25"
The bore appears good. I don't know the gun's history.

He is a class act and a gentleman. If I had the money I would buy all of his guns. He's honest to a fault and that to me rates high on the scale of integrity. powdr

How's the recoil on the light 375? That thing is tempting, for unknown reasons! You won't forget you shot it after you regain consciousness.   I've never ever been conscious of recoil while making a hunting shot, but it's not a bench-buddy rifle.
