I got out yesterday morning in the mud and christened the little RAR. Before you start giving me crap about that FX24, it is temporary. A VX-3 is on its way back from Leupold with new reticle and M1 elevation turret. This was a two-fer! They presented themselves perfectly. It seems that the 75gr A-Max WAY over penetrates! Good times.

I have the Varmint rimfire in .22 and .22 WMR. They are awful nice guns for the money.

Years ago, my late brother watched a couple of crows walking back and forth in the field of his scope until they paused in alignment just long enough for him to trip the trigger and blow both of them to Crow Heaven.

I am a field surveyor and while working I have had antelope with in 20 feet of me staring down a lathe with some pink or chartruse flagging on it. Never bother by my presence just staring at the tape flickering in the wind ,as though in a trace.. Crazy animals, come hunting season you can see them watching from a mile away.
