I have begun to take a closer look at these scopes lately and with all of the choices for BDC scopes, I have been wondering what the people that use them like/don't like about a particular type/brand. Just trying to get some info before buying.

I have about 20 Swarovski scopes with BRX reticle. If there was a better combination, I would use it...

I'm in. Always wanted to have a custom BDC built to my load. Get out, do a bunch of shooting to 450 and be able to sight my top crosshair to 225/250 yards then have hashmarks at 350, 450.

I like the Burris E1 but the regular Burris or Weaver with small holdover marks are more useful to me than a duplex. I don't care for the Nikon with circles, the circles are all the same size so obscure more of the target as range increases.

I like my FFII with the ballistic plex. I like mil dots. Had one nikon with circles...for about 2 weeks(not a fan). I also have a bushnell with the DOA, and it works out well.

I have traded off all my Nikon BDC scopes for the regular Nikoplex. I think that Minox has a good BDC and Burris.

I use the burris fullfield II ballistic plex and the leupold rifleman ballistic reticle, i like the thinner lines; did not like the nikon circles as hawkman said. go look thru a few of them at some distances and see what you like the best.

Burris FFII with Ballistic Plex. For what little turret spinning I do the Leupold CDS system works great.

Thanks guys.
When looking through the various scopes. I didn't care for the circles of the Nikon BDC. The E1 from Burris looked like it might be something I would like.
Anyone use the Vortex Dead Hold BDC. I liked that one when looking through the scope.

I just bought my 1st Vortex Dead Hold BDC...but it's a lot like the burris I have so I'm fairly sure I'll like it.
