Here is an easy way to get into a Pre-64 "Classic" that you can really "enjoy" in the field and not worry about! Early 50's 300 H&H that has had the barrel "cut" to 24" and "magnaported", thus removing the front sight. A "blank' fills the rear dovetail. The stock has some nicks and bruises but wears them well. It has been cut for a pad but still exceeds factory LOP with the pad added (the current pad is hard and will need to be replaced). Finally, someone removed (?ground) a small amount of metal from the bolt handle to help with scope clearance (I have tried to include pictures). It currently wears an old 4x Redfield duplex scope in old Redfield rings and a mount that are all in nice shape. The swivels are original. Asking $695 shipped CONUS. Sorry, no trades. *** I purchased this as a project gun and have both an older 300H&H and 375 Weatherby (rechambered) barrels if someone is interested in a project for themselves!!! Well, when I saw the ad, I thought of two people I know reasonably well that would probably buy this. And it's no coincidence that one of them spoke for it and the other posted in this thread.

Seconds somehow, if anything falls through. I know exactly what I would like to do with it.
