I bought this new last year. It shoots and functions great. Bare rifle weighs 5 pounds 13 ounces. $700 shipped in the US from me to your FFL. Here is the scope I had on it: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/11315486/Leupold_VX2_3-9X40_CDS_$260_sh#Post11315486

Here is a link to an ad I wrote for the rifle earlier in the week. It gives more information about it. It is back up for sale, and I thought I'd do a less convoluted ad this time!
tarheeler, I don't know what is wrong with me. I get a gun, get it shooting, and sell it to get something new to play with. I saw of a pic of the Savage LW. It looks really sharp.
My wife says I can just earn more money, but it's a lot easier to just sell one I don't use when I want a new one!

I read Low Round count, maybe I missed it, or can you be more specific?

65BR, I didn't log the rounds fired or anything. I worked up loads with Amax, ELD-X, and 139 SSTs. Since I already had established loads for other 7-08s. this was a fast process where I just started my regular loads low for safety and worked up. I tested the scope tracking, and the dope to 500 yards twice. Then I put it away. Just to be safe, I'll say less than 150.
I've gotten questions about grouping. Every Tikka I've had shot very well. This gun has shot some clusters, but with me shooting it doesn't do it "all day long". Again to be safe, I'll just say it shoots three under an inch. I've never shot factory loads. The load I settled on was 45 grains H4350, Tula LR, Rem cases, at 2.805" with the 162 ELD-X.
All my Tikkas shot better with the factory stock speed bump dremeled down a little. The stock I put it in to sell is untouched.
In case someone is interested in it and didn't read my ad in the link, I applied Dyna Bore Coat to the barrel when I got the rifle. I describe it in the ad.
Again, I'm not interested in trades. If anyone has any questions, let me know.

How about $650 shipped for the rifle, and $250 for the scope and Talleys?
Someone mentioned the superlites were on sale for $650 at Sportsmans. Ours has been sold out for awhile, plus the 7-08 seemed hard to find anyway.

These rings are Talley light weight aluminum rings in the low height. I LIGHTLY lapped them when I put the scope on the rifle.

How about $850 for the rifle, scope, and rings? Or $635 for the rifle and rings?
I know I said no trades, but since I'm not getting it sold I would give $250 for a SWFA 6X mil-quad in good shape towards my gear.
