Here is a new in the box, Swedish made Hultafors Classic Treking axe for sale .Hultafors is the parent company of Hults Bruk which is the oldest forge in Sweden, which makes these. This axe is identical to the Hults Bruk "Almike" hatchet now sold in the US for $125 plus. The Hultafors marked axes are not sold in the US.

The axe has a 1 pound head and is 15" long. Its only weighs 25 oz all up and is well balanced and powerful little axe for it's size. The axe is well forged and has a mirror polished shaving sharp factory edge. The handle is straight grained and solidly hung. Comes with Hults best sheath, papers and box.

The pictures show an axe with excellent orientation of the grain (not all Hultafors nor Husqvarna are laid out so well).
This will be a strong handle that your grand-kids can use!
