There was a reason Thomas Jefferson didn't trust judges.
Congress needs to start impeaching judges. That last impeached judge was some 40 years ago. Justices, too. Get going on Sotomayor and Ginsburg.

I have no use for judges based on my 2 experiences with them: 1) I got a traffic ticket one time that I shouldn't have gotten so I hired a lawyer to beat it. My lawyer got a copy of the cop's ticket and he had written all kinds of comments (lies) on the ticket that weren't true. The cop didn't show up when we went before the judge so the case so the ticket should have been dropped. The judge ruled that I was guilty anyway without hearing my evidence and proceeded to chew my ass out. I got mad and started talking back the arrogant SOB and my lawyer told me to shut up before I got cited for contempt. I let the judge finish his rant and we left court. My lawyer filed an appeal and the case was dropped.
2) I filed for custody in my divorce and got a very liberal judge. One of my witnesses was a psychiatrist who had examined both of us. I was the one that requested the exam. My wife was all for the exam because she felt it would really make me look bad. The psychiatrist testified that I was a well adjusted individual but my wife has several mental disorders and it would be harmful for the children to live with her. Not only that she had tried to cheat on the written part of the examination. After a week long trial the judge gave my wife full custody and awarded her ALL community property plus I had to payoff her new car. Within a few months both kids moved in with me but I still had to pay child support for the next 10 years. You shouldn't have tried to save money by getting a cheap lawyer.

I was flying today and saw the "judge" sitting at the Salt Lake City Airport Southwest gate to Chicago. This is him, right?
