Forearm style is unique to the 99T.

Not if it's a rectangular chunk of firewood! Oh, mustn't forget the hacksaw with which to bob the barrel to 22".

Seriously, I'm kind of surprised no T's have been faked. Or have there been? I guess the thing is that correctly numbered EG's and R's aren't found under every bush either.

Off to wander aimlessly around the woods again. Kinda regretting that I didn't sight in my T for that purpose. I was handling it last night and realized how nearly perfect it is for the job.

As far as I know the T has a unique forearm as said above. Interesting the rifle made it into the movie as I'm sure there weren't too many 99 in Hollywood prop departments. You got to wonder if it belonged to the director or someone else who worked on the film who wanted star status for their 99.

Looks to be great shape.

Actually, it looks just like my 300 T. So much so that from now on, my rifle was in the movie Badlands.

When acquiring new Savage 99s, my deal breaker list goes out the window with model Ts. Mine is D/T with sling swivels, but a Stith mount kinda masks that, and it shoots dammmmmm good. Gotta love Ts.
