There are several bucks in the banded front sight, banded sling stud, irons in general. Check with NECG for priceing on all that...

Good deal just got better.

One last question. Does it have the MOA trigger or classic style.

Good question. I just checked and it appears to be the MOA as the unit is enclosed. I've never had an issue with the trigger, but yeah, it would give me warm fuzzies to replace if I retained the rifle.

I haven't heard anything bad about the MOA trigger; my Classic .375 is a N.H. gun with the older style M-70 trigger. Some like S.C. guns more than the later N.H. ones, thinking quality is better. I've never compared them.

It shouldn't be a big deal to install the older trigger; this MOA trigger would probably sell pretty well on the Classifieds.

MOA and Classic triggers are not interchangeable. Different mounting structure.

I wasn't aware.

At any rate, it's still a good platform and someone should take it off my hands. Any interest or offers?

I wish someone would buy this before I start trying to dream up a way to do it. I don't need another big bore and least of all a pizzed off wife.

There's a lot of money in this rifle, I'd estimate at least the following:

Barreled action $1,000
Bottom metal $300
Stock and painting $500
Cerakoting $150
Williams extractor and installation $100
Pillar bedding and Gunsmithing $300

$1,400 is an absolute steal.

Certainly a steal! For the stock... think closer to $900 once all the work is done to it.

Agree on your accessment of the stock cost, an Echols Legend is closer to $600 in the raw, bedding, painting, etc. would add at least $200, if not more. The one I got from D'Arcy, I had to fit the recoil pad. The $600 included cross pins and pillars. If I had hired out that work, your $900 price would be just about on the money.
