Need to free up some space in collection and putting up a very clean, shot very little 1965 Marlin Golden 39A. This was a closet/safe queen in excellent shape. No cracks, rust or bluing loss anywhere.

Has a very small safe ding on left side of forearm stock behind rear sight (see pic). That's The only thing I can find which is pretty good for a 56yr old rifle.

Yes, it is D&T from factory. I'm pretty sure Marlin started D&T all 39As after 1957 or so.

I have the original Marlin leather sling for this... and it's on my 39A that's the twin with this one including condition. Nice rifle and nice purchase, congrats!
Probably my favorite rim fire rifle !
