That will tug at your heartstrings.

Charcoals, silvers and champagnes all have a recessive gene commonly referred to as dilute. Charcoals are actually black labs that look frosted, or dark gray in color. Silvers are dilute chocolates, Champagnes and dilute yellows. AKC does not recognize the dilutes as their own color so they are registered as whatever the base color is. They are becoming more and more popular every year.
This is only our third litter in 7 years and the first for this bitch. We are not a breeder or kennel. These pups are raised in our house and get tons of attention. With the first 2 litters we had 9 each and all were sold by 6 weeks. I think this time it's a combination of time of the year and the economy that's making it harder to find good homes for them.
Thanks for the info. I had heard of the Silvers, but not Charcoals or now, Champagnes.

How can anyone close resist that face?
I refuse to even open dog threads. Lol
Last night I showed this thread to my wife and we both agreed, that pup is going to make some other family very happy. 😃

dam, and you're so close.
I would meet you in Syracuse this morning if it was up to me. The wife may have other thoughts. Actually we are waiting to see if our Golden is pregnant right now. She was bred 4 weeks ago, and it’s looking promising. Good luck with your sale, I’m betting by the end of the day that little girl has a home.
Can’t believe he’s still available. Beautiful and definitely a good background.
Back up folks. Feel free to share with other non-fire members if you have FB.

She's a cutie for sure.
15 hour one way drive, ugh.
No one huh? I'd be willing to drive up to 3 hours to shorten the trip for the right family.
Dang, 3 hours gets you to my door!
Tempting!

The only thing holding me back is my current lab is a little grumpy with other dogs.
Labs labs labs. Have never owned another breed . I am on my 3rd as when each of my 1st two passed I swore off ever having to go thru that heartbreak again. But it's pics like this that always gets me a yr or two later. Always thinking no dog can be as good as the one we just lost. Now, Cash our 4.5 yr old Red pointing lab....best pet ever and even a better hunting machine. My crowded bed, cars, shopping trips , walks, hunts, etc have never been better than with this hounds. Labs are truly man's best friend!!
GLWS to a great home. She's a doll.
UPDATE - looks like we found a home. She's going to a campfire member in PA. Thanks folks! big relief for me.
